Programs: HeartMath

I have the expertise to take you where you want to be.
Your health and wellbeing is my priority.

What is HeartMath?

HeartMath uses distinct concrete tools that allow each of us to strengthen the heart-brain connection in ways that enhance perception, emotions, intuition and health.

Research has shown that in less than 9 weeks people are able to improve mental and emotional well-being using HeartMath techniques and technology.

Heartmath Sessions:

A Heartmath session will typically be booked as a block of 3 – 4 sessions with the first session being an hour in length.

Prior to this session I will send you a client information form to complete to get an idea of the challenges you are dealing with.

The following sessions will be approximately 30 minutes each. The sessions can be done face-to-face or online.

Each session will build on the techniques given, and practice in between sessions is essential to understand the techniques more thoroughly and be able to use them when required.

It’s easy to see Anthony loves his job and genuinely wants to help his clients. He brings a sense of humour and a huge amount of knowledge to his sessions. I would highly recommend Anthony to anyone looking for a great Personal Trainer.

Who is HeartMath for?

Anyone on a healing journey, people seeking greater self-resilience, anyone who struggles meeting all of their goals, can benefit from the HeartMath method for self-regulation. This system can increase heart rate variability, physical durability, intuition and mental resilience.

How does HeartMath work

Anthony will introduce you to technology that allows you to measure and easily practice ways to boost your capacity. Based on your goals, he will find ways to integrate this into your sessions to accelerate your personal journey.

How is HeartMath different from meditation?

HeartMath trains you to self-generate a highly efficient physiological state called HRV coherence, which helps you increase emotional composure and clearer reasoning.

HeartMath is in many ways easier than meditation and has guidance to track results – achieving coherence allows you to better control your emotions, which govern thoughts and reactions to any given situation.

Increased emotional composure equals clearer reasoning and reaction in difficult situations and this is durable. This can have great physiologic effects as well for health benefits.

Fantastic workshop for trainers and business owners. Covering training, marketing and business. This is a great workshop for learning new ideas in all areas as well as re-introducing you to things you’ve learnt before and forgotten, but are relevant to you no

30 Minute HeartMath Session

Anthony’s HeartMath sessions will teach you how to stimulate your vagus nerve, improve your heart rate variability and create coherence in your body and reduce the negative effects of stress.

The Nervous System

The autonomic nervous system can be segmented into 2 distinct divisions: the sympathetic nervous system (SNS) and the parasympathetic nervous system (PNS). The sympathetic nervous system triggers a “fight, flight, or freeze” response when a stressor or threat (either real or perceived) is detected. Once the stressor has lessened, the parasympathetic nervous system helps us calm down and re-enter a “rest and digest” state.

When you experience chronic stress, your sympathetic nervous system stays in overdrive and continues to produce stress hormones like adrenaline and cortisol. This can be devastating to the body long term, leading to major health concerns like chronic pain, anxiety, gut inflammation, and more.

The Vagus Nerve

The body has a reset button that can help decrease the “fight, flight or freeze” response. The vagus nerve, which is the longest nerve in your body, connects your brain to your body and allows bidirectional information flow. It is part of the parasympathetic nervous system and influences your heart rate, respiration, and digestion.

Stimulating the vagus nerve activates the parasympathetic nervous system and reduces the neuro-physical experience of stress: lowers the heart rate, reduces blood pressure, stimulates digestion, and increases a sense of well-being. It also influences the limbic system in the brain, where emotions are processed.

HeartMath Training

Learning how to stimulate your vagus nerve allows you to shift from “fight, flight, or freeze” to “rest and digest” by creating a cooperative alignment between your heart, mind, and emotions. This state of alignment is called coherence, and it happens when your physical, mental and emotional systems are in sync, working more efficiently and harmoniously to optimize your physical and mental health.

Improved Memory

Sessions are great for anyone experiencing the negative effects of stress, such as scattered thoughts, feeling overwhelmed, emotional distortion, fatigue, exhaustion, sleep disruption, anxiety, and burnout.
