What is the Better Posture Program?

The “12 Weeks To Better Posture Program” is long term posture correction that requires a 360-degree approach to improving posture.

It is a comprehensive program to improve the alignment, balance, function, and movement of your body.

Long term postural correction is obtained with emphasis of 3 foundational components:

  • Spinal Alignment.
  • Postural Rehabilitation.
  • Postural Habit Re-education.

This 12 week program integrates very specific re-alignment techniques and important exercises to improve the movement of your joints and the balance of your body against gravity.

The program begins with Static Posture (while standing still) and Dynamic Posture (posture in movement) using a Posture Diagnosis Grid with a detailed assessment using Posturezone Software. The program also includes Posture Taping, Spinal Alignment Techniques, Posture Rehabilitation and exercises to improve your posture.

Are you ready to Look Better, Move Better and Feel Better?

Spinal Alignment

Spinal alignment refers to the position and alignment of the vertebrae in the spine.

In a properly aligned spine, the vertebrae are stacked one on top of the other and form a straight line.

When the spine is not properly aligned, it can cause a number of issues including back pain, headaches, and even problems with other parts of the body such as the hips and legs.

Fantastic workshop for trainers and business owners. Covering training, marketing and business. This is a great workshop for learning new ideas in all areas as well as re-introducing you to things you’ve learnt before and forgotten, but are relevant to you no

Postural Rehabilitation

Postural rehabilitation is a type of therapy that aims to improve and correct posture through exercises and activities that target the muscles and joints of the body.

The goal of postural rehabilitation is to correct muscle imbalances and improve the alignment of the spine and other joints, which can help to reduce pain, prevent injury, and improve overall function.

The treatment may include exercises to strengthen weak muscles, stretches to improve flexibility, and activities to help improve balance and coordination. The therapy may also include modalities such as  electrical stimulation to relieve pain and muscle spasms.

Postural rehabilitation is often used to treat conditions such as back pain, neck pain, and headaches. It is also used to prevent or treat injuries in athletes and other individuals who engage in physical activity.

Postural Habit Re-education

Postural habit re-education is a type of therapy that focuses on teaching individuals to be aware of and improve their posture. The goal is to improve alignment, reduce pain and strain, and prevent injury by correcting postural habits that have developed over time.

The process of postural habit re-education involves identifying and addressing the underlying causes of poor posture, such as muscle imbalances, muscle weakness, or tightness, and teach the patient new, more efficient postural habits.

Exercises, stretches and activities are chosen specifically to target the areas of the body that are causing the individual’s poor posture, The therapy may also include modalities such as electrical stimulation to relieve pain and muscle spasms.

Postural habit re-education is often used to treat conditions such as back pain, neck pain, and headaches, as well as to improve the alignment and performance in athletes and other physically active individuals.
